We require an experienced teacher to teach our Transition and Gateway classes. The role also involves helping students choose appropriate tertiary courses as part of our Dual Pathway programme and liaising with other community and business partnerships.

There is administrative support for the role with an existing Gateway co-ordinator who finds the work placements.  The department is essentially established – this is an opportunity to develop it further and the successful candidate needs to be energetic and open to new ideas. In particular, someone who can help us continue to develop pathways and life skills opportunities for some of our Y12 and 13 students.

The successful applicant does not necessarily have to have experience in all these areas but will be a sound classroom practitioner, able to build good learning relationships with young women and help them navigate appropriate pathways. Above all, they need to be a team player and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
