Two positions - Y0–1 and Y4–6.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Will bring the curriculum alive through our Puketapu Cultural Narrative, Learning through Play and the Arts
  • Has skill or interest/understanding in building strong foundations for effective literacy learning (moving smart, oral language, phonics, learning dispositions), Incredible Years and PB4L   
  • Someone who will personalise the learning for all akonga
  • Integrates Te Reo Māori into their teaching and learning conversations
  • Has a commitment to the links between ECE (Te Whāriki) and school (NZC) - Y0–1
  • Is a learner, innovative, and willing to try new ways of approaching things
  • Has a passion for taking the learning outside of the classroom
  • Is able to connect and partner with whanau to grow the learning of their akonga
  • Has excellent empowerment, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Is a team player who contributes to all aspects of life at a learning organisation
  • has a restorative heart or seeks to understand and apply restorative practices.
