Are you seeking to make a real difference for learners, but crave flexibility to make that happen?  We are looking for a teacher who has the confidence and skillset to share their strengths.  Can you capture the uniqueness of our people and place in excellent learning programmes?  Do you know how to engage learners and work with their families?

We offer – fantastic children who love to learn, small class sizes, a team of caring staff with excellent work ethic, a strategic BOT and a genuine, supportive community and Iwi.

Teaching and living here is what you make it – it’s fun and an adventure in itself.  Our place inspires our community and creates something special.  Come explore and make the magic with us.

  • Starts as soon as possible – we are happy to work with successful candidates on a start date that works for their existing role.
  • This is a 4 day a week position made up of a variety of components, each requiring you to make a difference to learners. However what is unique about this role is the flexibility to focus on designing for learning without having responsibility for a whole class as well.
    • Permanent O.5 days each week specialized ORS teacher.
    • Fixed term until end of term 4 2021. 2 days each week providing release and in class support for a provisionally certified first year teacher.  A mentor teacher allowance is available.
    • Fixed term until end of term 4 2021. 0.5 days each week supporting a transition to school project for children working at NZC level 1 and 2.
    • Fixed term until end of term 4 2021. 1 day each week leading acceleration and inclusive practices alongside classroom teachers.
  • A leadership unit is available during terms 3–4.
