Our kura places a high value on culturally responsive pedagogies, inclusive practice, PB4L and staff hauora, therefore our new leader would need to embrace these elements. We are looking for someone with a high level of emotional intelligence, and with the ability to develop educationally powerful relationships with students, staff and whānau in a diverse and vibrant school community.
We are looking for an outstanding, motivated, reflective educational leader who is capable of building staff capability, data analysis and accelerating student achievement. High expectations of progress and achievement for all ākonga are necessary.
Te Puna Akona (our Māori Bilingual unit) and Le Va (our Inclusive centre) are taonga within our school. Our new leader would need to cherish and contribute to these areas, and have a strong commitment to inclusive education and a strength in bicultural and cross-cultural relationships.
We seek a dedicated professional, a team player, and above all, a learner who is progressive in their approach to education and reflective in their practice.
We warmly welcome school visits if meeting kanohi ki te kanohi would help you get a feel for our school.
