Position to commence asap.

We are a dynamic, multicultural school in Upper Hutt seeking a teacher to work within our well established Teen Parent Unit serving the Hutt Valley, with the ability to teach NCEA, in particular levels 1 and 2.

We provide a high quality holistic programme for our teen parents and their tamariki.  The ideal candidate will be a well-qualified enthusiastic teacher who has excellent classroom management skills and embedded IT in their teaching practice.

The successful applicant will be passionate about working with teenage parents.  They will have a knowledge of PB4L restorative practices and be highly responsive to student learning needs in line with established practices at Heretaunga College.

Applicants must hold a current NZ practising Certificate.  Experience in teaching the NZ Curriculum is essential. When applying, please state your specialist area.
