We are a very multi-cultural kura located in the centre of Lower Hutt. We are seeking a Kaiako with experience and qualifications in teaching tamariki for whom English is a second language. You will be required to oversee the planning and teaching for the tamariki, the ELL  Kaiawhina / teacher aide who also works with ELL groups. You will be required to complete the administration including funding forms, assessment, reporting and help promote and celebrate our cultural diversity.

Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi is essential. A kaiako with strengths in te reo Māori and tikanga, who can contribute to the cultural responsiveness in our kura is desirable.
