Bethlehem College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian college (Y1–13). Staff enjoy excellent modern resources and fine facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our excellent counselling, pastoral care and support team at Bethlehem College. The successful applicant will be an NZAC/ NZACC registered counsellor, with experience working with children and youth from ages 5–18 and their whanau/family. The successful applicant will be able to work with a range of modalities to support varying needs in our learning community. They will also build and maintain networks with external agencies, work as a member of a collaborative and established counselling team, work with teachers, groups of students, and work efficiently under pressure. Bethlehem College provides a beautiful work setting and is located in the wonderful, sunny Bay of Plenty.
The position of counsellor is part-time (32 hours per week). These hours will be worked within the 40 weeks of the year the school is open for instruction.
Remuneration will be dependent upon qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
Position start date: Term 2, 2021.
