Our children need a hand to hold as they discover the wonder and beauty of the world.

We are on the hunt for an experienced registered teacher at our Te Awamutu centre who is just as curious and eager to learn as our tamariki are to come on board in a role with part time hours.

Who we are:
Creators Educational Trust is made of a kind-hearted bunch who care a whole lot about our future. Our children have ideas and voices and through our curriculum we work hand-in-hand to shape a world we’d all love to live in, founded on the values of aroha and manaakitanga.

We believe in:

  • Love and connection
  • The Reggio Emilia Approach
  • Nature play
  • Value-based learning.

What you can expect:
Relationships are at the heart here, kaiako and tamariki at Waipa join a very special community which allows them to grow in creativity, empathy and develop a love and respect for papatūānuku. Our inquiry-based curriculum is founded on Christian ethos and values and is strongly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

We believe in celebrating the beauty and individuality of every tamariki and their whānau. Our indoor and outdoor spaces reflect the love, respect and honour we have for tamariki. Tamariki are considered equal citizens with an incredible contribution to make to our society.

Work alongside whānau, contribute to the centre’s strategic direction, celebrate the individuality and potential of every child. All with our core philosophy in mind. This role is 12 hours per week so is a unique, family friendly opportunity.

Why you should apply:

  • Great team culture
  • Be a part of an organisation that is a true not for profit and gives back to its people
  • As a company we invest significantly in innovative pedagogy and professional development.
  • Heart to heart connection with tamariki, whānau and staff who become friends.
