We have a full-time Māori performance arts specialist teacher position available. Our school has a culture of valuing the arts and has provided arts programmes of a very high standard to date, we wish to continue this for our diverse Y7 and 8 students. Applicants must be confident with the NZ Arts Curriculum. 

A person who has a strong empathy with students from a variety of cultures particularly Māori culture and a variety of backgrounds is imperative. The ability to liaise with classroom teachers and integrate art with the classroom teaching programmes and mentor art teaching at the general classroom level.

Applicants are also expected to make a contribution to the extracurricular life of the school.
