Finding that legendary early childhood teaching role with the best provider is much like stumbling across a unicorn on your way to the local dairy…  Lucky for you, RKA, a true not-for-profit organisation with a community based, child-centred approach, is seeking a fixed-term full-time (1.0FTE) Teacher to join a big team in our Pahiatua Early Learning Centre.  This is an ideal role for newly qualified, PCT teachers.  Beginning in term 2 until mid-October 2021, the role will be based in the U2’s space. 

Best of all… our teachers are covered by the Collective Agreement (KTCA).

The preferred person will:

  • Be a registered ECE or primary teacher with a current first aid qualification
  • Have a passion for working with toddlers and infants
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture through excellent communication and listening
  • Stay motivated, positive, and driven to support this ELC succeed to the highest potential.
