An opportunity exists in our Y7–13 school for a motivated and qualified head of learning area – English. The appointee will be expected to provide leadership and guidance for the English curriculum.

The appointee will be a motivated teacher and leader, willing to collaborate with other teachers and curriculum areas to increase the levels of student achievement in our school. The ability to teach across all year levels is an advantage.   

A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive practice, and te ao Mäori is vital. We are looking for a teacher who is keen on developing curriculum with local and relevant content while integrating student interest, embracing cross curricular teaching and effective use of digital technology within the curriculum.    

A school house may be available.
