Southland Boys' High School is seeking to find a learning support coordinator to join the team and be part of the student support network.
This role will work alongside a second learning support coordinator and is based solely with the students of Southland Boys' High School. The team is connected with the local cluster and supported by the wider regional network.
We seek someone who can:
Lead and assist with the development of learning support programs
Be responsible for data collection and ongoing monitoring of student achievement
Assist with the development of programs that support learners inside of the classrooms
Liaise and connect with other LCS's across the cluster and connect with wider agencies
Support parent and whānau, building relationships of understanding and establish support around our boys
Demonstrate a passion for the support of boys education
Work with staff and leadership to influence and encourage inclusion to ensure the needs of our boys are met.
