A multiethnic U6 full primary school in Mangere. Roll 562. The school has eight Tongan bilingual classes, four Samoan bilingual classes, an immersion reo Māori class and 12 English medium classes. Mandarin and Māori are taught to Y7–8.

Relieving position

This is a relieving position starting Monday 3 May for the rest of 2021. We are looking for a teacher competent in Samoan and English. The ability to connect with a multi-ethic community, knowledge of learning and maintaining languages, sound classroom pedagogies, and knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum, are desirable.  

Competence in information technology, strengths in physical education and the arts are added advantages.

The appointee will teach in the Y5–8 area of the Samoan Bilingual Unit. The appointee is able to teach from Y1 to Y8.
