We are looking for an experienced leader to continue the amazing work in supporting our students across the school with additional learning needs and to act as our SENCO. You will work with a range of external agencies to ensure support for all students while supporting class teachers and learning leaders in implementing systems for student support.
In addition to student support, experience with junior school learning programmes, particularly play-based learning and transition between early learning and primary school will be vital in this role.
The successful candidate will:
Be a skilled communicator with staff, external agencies, and whanau
Inform best practice in early years teaching
Support innovative approaches to learning to ensure outcomes for all students
Plan and implement IEP processes for students
Support our teacher aides in their learning and growth
Grow the leadership of our existing junior school learning leaders
Be a collaborative member of the senior leadership team
Support the school vision and values through the PB4L programme.
All applicants must be registered to teach in New Zealand.
