Haeata Community Campus has an exciting opportunity for an individual with any specialty in the social sciences area to join the team in the year 9-13 area. State supporting subjects. The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and enjoy the challenge of working within an ākonga/student centric and collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will have:  

  • A degree qualification within a relevant discipline 
  • Experience in working as a part of a team and collaborative teaching
  • Ability to teach from Y9–13
  • Contribute to the life of the school through extra curricula
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Strong pastoral skills to support in the role of Puna Ako
  • Communication skills to support with ākonga, whānau and Kaimahi.
