Are you an authentic, agile and courageous kaiako, looking to be part of a collaborative team of teachers? We are seeking an inclusive teacher to teach our Y2–3 akonga.

Starting date:  Monday, 3 May 2021 - Beginning of term 2.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Will bring the curriculum alive through Learning through Play and the Arts
  • Has skill or interest/understanding in building strong foundations for effective literacy learning (moving smart, oral language, phonics, learning dispositions), Incredible Years & PB4L   
  • Someone who will personalise the learning for all akonga
  • Has a commitment to learning and using Te Reo Māori in their teaching
  • Is a learner, innovative, and willing to try new ways of approaching things
  • Has a passion for taking the learning outside of the classroom
  • Is able to connect and partner with whanau to grow the learning of their akonga
  • Has excellent empowerment, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Is a team player who contributes to all aspects of life at a learning organisation
  • has a restorative heart or seeks to understand and apply restorative practices
