A relevant ECE qualification, teacher registration, current first aid certificate and proven ICT skills are a must.
In addition, the preferred applicant will also demonstrate the following:
A commitment to being culturally responsive alongside a knowledge of te reo and tikanga Māori and the ability to work within an already established community tikanga
A good understanding and proven practices around environmental sustainability
Forward-thinking and responsive to constant change
Ability to build relationships in a tight-knit community and work with many children and whānau
Creativity and innovation
A team player who has good time management and the ability to work with systems of.
