Our delightful semi-rural school is looking for the perfect person to come and work alongside our NE to Y2 tamariki in our well-resourced junior classroom. We are looking for someone who can provide our youngest learners with a supportive play-based learning environment to grow in, both emotionally and socially, to enable them to best access equitable educational learning opportunities.
At this time, we can offer you a full time, fixed-term position for 2021. Professional learning opportunities will be provided which will support you in becoming the best you can be. We are also open to negotiating a job-sharing scenario if that is the best fit for you and your own family.
Here we pride ourselves on the wide and varied experiences we offer our learners. We are committed to those within our SFS family that need access to learning in diverse ways, and we are currently creating our ‘Sensory Garden’ which will further support those tamariki with unique and varied needs.
We would love to hear from you if you think this opportunity is one that you are interested in exploring.
The Wairarapa is a stunning location with so much to do! We are situated just outside the up-and-coming township of Featherston, and close to both Martinborough (the premier wine region of the Wairarapa) and Greytown. We are also only an hour from downtown Wellington.
So what are you waiting for? Contact me for a job application pack. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon...
