We have an opportunity for an energetic, passionate, inspiring teacher to join our team.

In this role you will contribute to the successful educational outcomes for tamariki through inspiring and dynamic teaching. 

About you

  • Have a philosophy and vision that fits with our team and kindergarten
  • Up-to-date with early childhood education theory and able to demonstrate how you put this into practice
  • Have good understanding and knowledge of Te Ao Māori and Te Whāriki
  • Committed to the kaupapa of Enviroschools
  • Have a strong knowledge in assessment, planning and evaluation that will promote positive learning outcomes for all akongā
  • Be confident in using technology and be able to competently use online platforms like Storypark and Microsoft teams
  • Show the flexibility and have a self-motivated growth mindset
  • Have excellent supervision and scanning skills for our unique environment
  • Be a positive team player who contributes to professional dialogue
  • Teaches from the heart, have nurturing practices and a sense of fun, respect and aroha
  • Have a current practising certificate (full or provisional), first aid certificate and a recognised ECE or Primary Teaching qualification.
