We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time kaiako to join our team.

About us:

We believe children learn through play within a safe, fun and stimulating environment.

Our programme provides an inclusive learning environment allowing opportunities for children to interact with whānau, friends, community groups and services. Each child will have the opportunity to take responsibility for their own learning by participating in activities that interest them. They will have the freedom to create and act on their own ideas, develop knowledge and practice new skills.

Our kindergarten is operated by Central Kids Early Education, who manage 57 other kindergartens and early learning centres throughout the central North Island.

Central Kids provide:

  • A commitment to putting children at the heart to all that we do – Ko ngā tamariki te pūtake
  • A commitment to ensuring te reo Rangatira not only survives but thrives in our organisation

  • Ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice
  • 6 weeks' annual leave, 9 days' sick leave and ample non-contact/professional time per the Kindergarten Teachers', Head Teachers’ and Senior Teachers’ Collective Agreement.
