We are ready for the right person!

Calling all creative and inspiring kaiako.

St John's Progressive Childcare is looking for an ECE qualified superstar with experience in working with infants and toddlers.

Applicants must have a growth mindset, be upbeat and fun and most importantly someone who has a ‘heart-centred’ approach to teaching. Our planning with this age group is centred around their dispositions, social competencies and physical development so a sound understanding of these areas would be beneficial. You will be welcomed into a supportive team, where your contribution will be valued.

Our Philosophy is based on the values of Emmi Pickler’s RIE and you will be given access to regular and valued professional development to build on your skills and knowledge on this approach and others. Our centre offers generous budgets for professional development, resources, child:staff ratios and non-contact hours.

We are keen to find a person who is ready to expand their wings and take the opportunities that our centre can offer them to implement positive experiences for our tamariki and their whānau.
