Centre manager

We have an exciting position available and invite a skilled centre manager to join our preschool and lead our team. This is a great opportunity for someone to further their leadership skills.

This role has a strong emphasis on curriculum and the candidate must have a good understanding of licensing requirements and compliance and be able to manage their time effectively and efficiently. An ability to set ‘the big picture’ direction while making sure the day to day details are attended to. A real vision to what you would like to achieve as the leader of this successful centre.

Our centre is privately owned situated in the Bay of Plenty and is licenced for 53 children (ages 0-5 year olds). The role could either be shared part time or full time and is flexible for the right person. Our centre is divided into two areas, the setting is very appealing, with a big outdoor space and natural environments to encourage curiosity and learning. Our philosophy is based around the heart centred approach and we have rituals and implement mindfulness into our day. We use Discover and Educa programmes.

You will be supported by the owner and teaching team and will work in a collaborative partnership. Ongoing professional learning opportunities will be available to support you in this role.
