We are seeking a successful, experienced, NZ registered teacher to work collaboratively and in strengths-based ways with students, whānau, teachers and other professionals. Proven skills in working culturally responsively with Māori, Pasifika and priority learners and having an understanding of Te Ao Māori and/or Pasifika languages would be highly advantageous for the right applicant. Applicants must be prepared to support diverse students from Years 1 to 10 and travel Taranaki wide.
RTLB postgraduate study is mandatory for teachers who do not hold the RTLB qualification.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
A commitment to culturally sustaining and Te Tiriti o Waitangi-informed practice
An in-depth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum
Skills in using assessments to improve instruction and student learning
Confidence to work alongside teachers to strengthen their practice within an inclusive environment
A Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification
Full NZ teacher/kaiako registration with a current practising certificate
A full driver’s licence and the use of a personal, insured and registered vehicle.
