We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and proactive RTLB to join our leadership team. Professional credibility with team members, MoE Learning Support and key stakeholders across the Cluster are essential. Under the direction of the RTLB Cluster Manager, a Practice Leader is responsible for leadership, guidance and support of RTLB in their professional practice.
Proven leadership skills and experience of suitable candidates:
Support for the Cluster vision, strategic goals and Learning Support Delivery Model
Commitment to culturally sustaining and Te Tiriti o Waitangi-informed practice
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
Quality service provision working across schoolwide, targeted group and individual levels
Experience in leading Cluster-wide projects
Professional and approachable.
Practice leaders must:
Be willing to support RTLB and work across schools Taranaki wide
Have a full driver’s licence and use of their own, insured and registered vehicle
Be a New Zealand fully-registered teacher/kaiako with a current practising certificate.
