We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent leadership abilities and experience to lead the library and oversee the school’s website. The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and enjoy the challenge of working within an ākonga/student centric and collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum five years progressively responsible experience, including management and supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
Evidence of excellence in literary and information technology ako/teaching learning, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
The ability to organise, prioritise, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills
A broad knowledge of Data Management, Web Design, Library Management Systems, and ICT
Expertise with Microsoft Office, the Internet, and related open source applications; familiarity with Apple, Microsoft, and Android systems; experience with general troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and other equipment.
As an Area School, this job is available to a teacher in either the primary or secondary area, as long as there is a love of literature in the heart of your teaching practice as there is a teaching component to this position.
