Qualified early childhood teacher

Our preschool is looking for a reliable, passionate and committed NZ registered, qualified early childhood teacher to join our supportive, experienced and professional team.

We are a privately owned, small, home-like, boutique, childcare centre, on Auckland’s city fringe. We are located in the heart of Newton on Upper Queen Street. With parking available for our teachers. We have experienced teachers and great child to teacher ratios.

We are all about quality not quantity so we are licensed for a total maximum of 25 preschool children from 0–5-years-old. We are renowned for quality education and quality care of all our children attending. We are open from 7.45am–5.45pm and require someone 5 days a week (40 hours).

We seek a highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative, nurturing and respectful  teacher to join our centre’s dedicated team that is committed to deliver high-quality education and care for our 2–5-year-old children. This role requires initiative, commitment and passion for teaching and learning. You will need to be confident in documenting children's learning, provide experiences and provocation that enriches children's learning and development.

We are looking for that special teacher who is a great communicator and a team player,  thrives in building strong reciprocal relationships with children and their families.
