Stirling is a small rural town situated close to Balclutha in South Otago.

Our highly performing principal is retiring, so an exciting opportunity as principal/teacher has become available at our wonderful small school. We are seeking an experienced principal, or an experienced teacher aspiring to fulfill this role and take the next step in their education career.

Our school has a starting roll of 30 children for 2021, staff consists of a 0.7 fixed-term teaching position, 1.0 FTE teacher, a teacher aid and a cleaner.

The Board is seeking an inspirational leader, who has exceptional management skills and is passionate about individual students learning and well being. Someone who will bring new initiatives and commit to ensuring the best outcomes for all of our students. A principal who will be visible to our community, students and staff and who will encompass a strong belief in Stirling school culture and values.
