Early learning centre manager

We are seeking a professional, productive, independent leader who has enthusiasm and drive to lead the team at our Community based preschool in the heart of Woolston Village. We are licensed for 39 children with up to 15 U2s.

Our purpose is to provide an inclusive community based early childhood service where children and their families can have a strong sense of belonging, and flourish as they begin to realise their potential.

This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of a preschool with the support of a strong governance Board and established processes. The role involves administrative duties (with support from a part time administrator), as well as time in ratio in both classrooms and a flexibility with hours/shifts. Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) supporting kaiako and children in their development and learning, working in partnership with whānau to provide positive outcomes for their tamariki, implementing the tabled Policy Reviews, Appraisals, undertaking Internal Evaluation, and ensuring the Health and Safety systems in place are implemented.
