Early childhood teacher - qualified

Due to roll growth in our infants and toddlers we are now seeking a qualified early childhood teacher to join our team.

City Heights consists of a babies and toddlers centre and a preschool centre. The preschool follows the Montessori philosophy and we prepare our toddlers for this through a modified U3's Montessori programme. We are seeking somebody who is energetic and has a love of working with infants and toddlers.

 The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

* A professional attitude and a commitment to maintaining an organised, high quality learning environment.

* Energy, initiative, enthusiasm and a genuine love of young children.

* A desire to connect children to nature as well as fostering their holistic development through the implementation of Te Whaariki and Montessori methods (Montessori qualification desirable but not required).

• Great positive guidance skills, planning and assessment skills, creativity and flexibility.
• Caring and nurturing nature
• The ability to work alongside other teachers and contribute positively to the team.
