Dedicated teacher of English introducing it as a formal subject to Y6 students and continuing the development for Y7 and 8 students. Must be au fait with our particular context and the broader Māori medium education aspirations. Must have knowledge of te reo Māori and tikanga. Must have good interpersonal skills to build mutually beneficial relationships with students, colleagues and members of the haukāinga.
The successful applicant will be a member of the Kura Tuakana and will therefore be expected to take a lead role in planned learning activities.
