Kidiwise is a privately owned centre tucked in the back of Bethlehem’s shops and surrounded by 3 acres of beautiful bush. Our infants’ room, the Nestlings is sadly losing a long-standing team member as she goes off to follow a once in a lifetime teaching opportunity at a Pacifica-based Kindergarten. We are restructuring our team and are searching for an experienced and qualified preschool teacher to join us. 

We are a unique centre – the successful applicant must like animals and the great outdoors. Our local curriculum includes a weekly programme involving bush walks, pony rides, spa pool, science room and excursions within the community. Although a majority of learning is done outside our children also enjoy a range of free play experiences like music, dancing, reading and art.

 For this role you must be:

• Fully qualified in early childhood
• Provisionally or fully registered
• Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Be experienced in working with preschool aged children
• Be a strong communicator
• Nurturing and caring
• Have a passion for the environment and its care.
