Listed 9:19 am 13 January 2021

Due to roll growth and a commitment to an innovative curriculum, we have a part-time fixed-term teaching position available for a senior English teacher for 2021.

All successful applicants will demonstrate a high level of commitment to our vision 'Kia Tū, Kia Ora, Kia Māori!'

The successful applicant will be forward-thinking in their approach to pedagogy and professional learning, open to developing 21st century skills and receptive to bringing an awareness to global and community issues that affect our learners.

You will be required to collaborate with other staff in a team teaching environment. Your contribution to building a culture of success is key, while assisting learners on their journey toward attaining their career aspiration.

Our kura is small and therefore you will be building close relationships with our taiohi, staff and whānau. Our students thrive when their teachers are culturally responsive, actively engaged in improving their professional capabilities, skilful communicators, support mana motuhake for all students, and make an effort to improve their te reo Māori capability – the basics is a great start!

If you are a future-focused educator, we welcome your application.
