We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent leadership abilities and experience to lead the digital technologies and STEM Education programmes within the school. The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and enjoy the challenge of working within an ākonga/student centric and collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate will have:
A Degree qualification within a relevant discipline
A minimum five years progressively responsible experience, including management and supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
Evidence of excellence in STEM ako/teaching learning, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
The ability to organize, prioritize, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent time management skills
A broad knowledge of relevant technologies such as, but not limited to basic CAD and vector drawing design, video/audio production, photography, graphic design, sound recording and set up, coding and emerging technologies, expertise in digital technologies and makerspace initiatives
Expertise with Microsoft Office, the Internet, and related open source applications; familiarity with Apple, Microsoft, and Android systems; experience with general troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and other equipment.
