 We are seeking a person who will support this vision with an unrelenting focus on student achievement. The deputy principal needs to be an excellent classroom practitioner and have experience as a leader including experience in the area of school wide curriculum, especially in the development of a local curriculum, assessment development, professional learning and E learning. Other responsibilities and duties will be negotiated with the successful applicant. 

We are a school with 55% Māori students, the majority of which whakapapa to Maniapoto. Knowledge and understanding of Te Reo me ona Tikanga Maori will be an advantage. 

The successful candidate will live in a great community in the heart of the King Country and work in a small school who pride themselves in punching above their weight in many things.
