Head teacher – 4 year old centre

We are looking for an experienced teacher who can enjoy the unique requirements of our wonderful 4 year olds. We believe that our tamariki are capable and competent, and we offer a balance of child led learning, and teacher led learning.

We have a four year only centre, and we believe in quality ratios, we usually have 20–22 children and 3 teachers, with a large park down the road that our tamariki love. 

It is important to us that our new head teacher has a passion for Te ao Māori and the natural world. 

Requirements for this role:

• Trained and registered ECE teacher 
• Demonstrate stellar leadership, management and mentoring skills
• Have proven experience leading a team in planning, assessment and self-review
• Comfortable with ICT and online portfolios.
