We are seeking a passionate, positive and engaging registered teacher to join our learning community, on a full-time permanent basis, focused on developing a highly cultural and responsive field-based STEAM curriculum. Applicants will have experience in the delivery of Mahi Toi (Art) and Pūtaiao (Science) from a Mātauranga Māori perspective.

Applicants will need to evidence an ability to engage and connect with young Māori and Pasifika males and have the skills and mindset to facilitate all manner of learning with this cohort. The Academy engages and enriches young people in a culturally appropriate learning environment that emphasises Māori culture and values such as Manaakitanga and Mahi tahi. We develop lifelong learners who are confident in their Māori worldview. Strong te reo Māori and Tikanga Māori knowledge is essential.
