Teacher / head of academic

Due to a change in family circumstances, our centre seeks a head of academic / teacher for our secondary school.

We are a small, unique school with a focus on riding for therapy. Our students (maximun 30) have struggled in the mainstream system for various reasons and we offer a safe place for them to be successful, both emotionally and academically.

We seek someone with a flexibility of approach, a passion for changing lives and innovative ideas around curriculum. The role has a responsibility for literacy and an overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school. We welcome a teacher with an interest in PB4L.

This is a full-time position. However, we will consider a part-time / job share position or full-time. A knowledge of working with horses would be advantageous but not necessary.
