At Sommerville we provide education for students aged 5 to 21 years with a range of neuro-diversities. We are looking for several teachers, with a passion for engaging young learners.  

We are looking for a teacher in one of our primary aged satellite classes in a mainstream school. In this position you will be working as part of a two class satellite unit with two teachers and four teachers aides. We are also looking for a teacher in a class of 16-19 year old young men at our base site in Panmure. These students require a functional life skills programme delivered by an enthusiastic and energetic teacher. 

Our curriculum focuses on supporting each student to develop the skills they need to be an effective communicator and to be as independent as possible throughout their lives, so they can reach their potential in all areas.

We are seeking several experienced, NZ registered educators, who are enthusiastic, value collaboration and teamwork, and who can build quality relationships with students and whānau.
