We have an amazing opportunity for a full-time registered teacher to join our passionate team of dedicated teachers at Happy Steps, Dargaville!

At Happy Steps, we provide a ‘home away from home’, nurturing and cosy environment, where each child receives meaningful care, as well as personalised learning and development. We are licensed for 59 children and are open 7.30am–5.30pm, Monday–Friday. Our centre offers spacious indoor and outdoor play areas with a large deck creating wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. Nestled near the bank of the Wairoa River in Dargaville, we offer excellent care and education for local families in the community.

Our ideal candidate will be a great communicator, friendly, approachable and enjoys a challenge. A genuine passion and the ability to respond to the development needs of our tamariki through planning and curriculum would also be high on the list of skills we are looking for.
