Deputy principal

Our much loved DP just retired so we seek to appoint an inspirational, aspiring leader who has students at the heart of their practice. If you have previous success as a proactive and collaborative leader, outstanding people skills, can place the learner in the centre of all decision making and continually strive for continued improvement, then the position of deputy principal of our intermediate is for you. 

We are a well-resourced and fast paced school, with excellent sports facilities including a geothermal pool and an astroturf. We offer a lot of professional learning opportunities. We value E.O.T.C and have access to a hut in the National Park area for rich learning experiences, staff can also book this for personal use.

• Possess excellent communication skills
• Experience in working collaboratively both within and across schools
• Ability and experience in enacting school vision and values
• Experience in strategic planning and school review processes
• Significant change leadership experience
• Strengths across the curriculum and in pedagogy
• Competency in appraisal and developing leadership capability
• Ability to build a cohesive team
• Willingness to contribute to education outside the classroom and be involved in the corporate life of the school
• Willingness to contribute to education in the wider community
• To be an advocate for students in the area of pastoral care.
