Head teacher U2 area

Prebbleton Nursery seeks an ECE registered teacher to join us caring for our littlest learners for approximately 35 hours per week as the head teacher in the U2's. We are an established family owned business, operating for 20 years; and our motto is 'the next best place to home'. With this in mind we have a ratio of 1:3. Our teachers work alongside the children in our care to provide learning experiences that will inspire in them a 'lifelong love of learning' and offer children calm, warm, caring routines following the Pikler/RIE approach and we would love for you to join us!

As our new team member you would ideally have the following attributes:

• Be able to build strong relationships with children and families.
• Be a good communicator working effectively leading a team.
• Be a supportive mentor who guides teachers in their practice
• Have a good sense of humour and not afraid of a laugh!
• Be able to lead a team in planning, assessment and internal evaluation.
• Be reliable and flexible to work a range of hours as required.
