A very rare opportunity has become available at our centre. We’re seeking a qualified and certified teacher for our O2’s area. Child’s Wonder is a well-established and privately owned centre in Papamoa, licensed for 43 children. Our teaching philosophy is based on the Virtues Project, we value the virtues Kindness, Trust and Respect. We are a fun, dedicated and close-knit team so relationships also play an important role in our centre environment and practices. Each member of our team is valued, and their uniqueness and strengths are celebrated. We pride ourselves in the relationships we build with tamariki, whānau and as a teaching team.

Due to one of our teachers going on maternity leave we have a full-time role, 40 hours a week becoming available. This position is for a year but has the potentially to lead to a permanent position. We’re looking for a qualified and registered teacher to work in our beautiful preschool caring and educating 2–5-year olds. Having the ability to provide positive outcomes for all tamariki is an important aspect to this role. But having fun along the way and valuing what each teacher brings to our team is essential. We believe in empowered leadership so we will be there to support you along the way.

This position ideally starts January 2021 but is flexible for the right person.

A high level of written and spoken English is required and you must have NZ residency.
