We need you to join the Arahina team to work with students (10-16 years) who are in non-residential care of Oranga Tamariki and not in education, to prepare and support these students to successfully transition into mainstream education. The Arahina ki Otautahi is part of Kingslea School and provides a highly engaging education programme with high student/ staff ratios.
Successful applicants will have high levels of cultural competence and strengths in raising student engagement and achievement and managing challenging behaviour.
Staff are employed under the Secondary Schools Collective Agreement but both Primary or Secondary qualifications will be considered.
