Team leader (Y4-6)

Our amazing team leader has decided to take up being a mother full-time so we are on the search for a new middle school team leader.

We are looking for a superstar who is dedicated to fostering the learning and wellbeing of all children. You need to be able to develop strong and caring relationships with our students, staff and whānau and have outstanding behaviour management skills. You will have a knowledge and understanding of diverse learning and behaviour needs and have some leadership experience and/or capacity.

The position comes with one permanent management unit for leading a team of 2 other teachers in the middle school. You will be teaching a Y5–6 class. There is also a possibility of another fixed term unit for leading a particular curriculum area. If you have strengths in either literacy, numeracy or sports/PE, that would be a bonus.
