An exciting opportunity has become available to work in our lovely teaching team at BestStart Glenfield. Our centre has a large indoor and outdoor area where our children have opportunities to develop, play and learn in a nurturing environment.

We are situated in the heart of Glenfield on the North Shore, close to major motor ways and bus routes.

We are currently seeking two ECE qualified and registered (provisional or full) teachers with a strong commitment to delivering quality teaching and learning outcomes to join both our U2s or preschool rooms. In our U2s area we have a strong focus on primary care-giving along with age appropriate specific resources and environments that help to foster children’s growth and development.

In our preschool we focus on our own be school ready program and developing independence while following our children's individual interests.

Our centre is lucky to be able to offer some flexibility of how your hours are structured, so we can offer 10 hours worked across 4 days if this is your preference.

Our ideal teacher's strength will lie in self-review, learning journeys, group and individual planning. Familiarity with RIE philosophy and understanding of Te Whāriki will be advantageous to your application.

We are an experienced, friendly and energetic team who love the environment we have created. No day is the same, and we are looking for equally enthusiastic applicants who can bring some great ideas to our awesome centre.
