We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, high-calibre kaiako to teach in our Māori class, Te Purapura, Y2-3 starting in 2021. A strong level of te reo Māori is required along with knowledge of tikanga and a passion for teaching, including an ability to plan and teach formatively.
The ideal candidate would show strengths in the New Zealand Curriculum, cultural responsiveness and whānau engagement.
Our school is part of a Kāhui Āko and welcomes teachers who are excited to collaborate across schools to achieve success for all learners.
School visits are welcomed. Please phone the school to organise a visit, but be mindful of the short time frame. Our last day is Tuesday 15 December.
