Registered teacher

We are looking for a registered teacher for our vibrant, research focused, teacher owned centre to join our team in Tauranga. We are a community that highly values respect and kindness towards children, whānau and each other. The principle and strands of Te Whāriki have forged our culture of kindness and respect and helped us to create a free flowing mixed aged centre where children direct their own learning supported by committed and passionate teachers. 

We have a shared leadership structure where we make decisions together about how our environment and philosophy evolve over time. We celebrate and support each other within our team as we all negotiate busy work and home lives.

We attend and are nourished by the Natural Phenomena conference as well as ELP professional development courses and other learning experiences we weave into our professional lives. Many of the teachers here present at professional development opportunities throughout the year.
