Our much loved Kaiako of 6 years has moved on in her career. Are you the new Kaiako for us? We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, high-calibre kaiako to teach in our Maori class, Ngā Muka, Y3–6. A strong level of te reo Māori is required along with knowledge of tikanga and a passion for teaching, including an ability to plan and teach. The ideal candidate would show strengths in The New Zealand Curriculum, cultural responsiveness and whānau engagement. Warmth, understanding, aroha and connections to our community and whanau will also play a huge part in this role. We are open to new ideas of how we can continue to shape the future of Ngā Muka.
