With the resignation of our current principal, Stephanie Kitto, we seek a new principal who can start in term 2, 2021 to continue to build on our excellent reputation, implement our strategic vision and lead us into the future.
It is essential that the appointee meets the criteria set out in Schedule 6 of the Education and Training Act 2020 - CI47 (as attached), is a highly competent leader, with an excellent understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, current teaching and learning and the Catholic special character.
A willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
An excellent communicator, who is approachable and is passionate about our children and our school is an expectation shared by the whole school community.
The successful applicant will be team orientated, flexible, a good role model to others, and able to easily engage with all people in our community. Our expectation is that we will continue to sustain and build on the high trust relationships we currently have with our students, parents and wider community through this appointment.
