A wonderful opportunity has presented for our school to train a Reading Recovery Teacher in 2021.
We invite applications from enthusiastic, caring NZ certified classroom teachers with recent successful primary teaching experience who are keen to learn these new skills and to contribute to student learning at our school. The successful candidate will have strengths in literacy, assessment and be prepared to grow their practice. We need a teacher who is a good communicator and who will collaborate as part of the junior school teaching team. Positive student management skills and a commitment to collaborative teaching/learning is required.
Our teaching team is focused on strengthening learning relationships with students, and raising student achievement. We are committed to high expectations for all learners, focused on student success and motivated to establish/maintain quality relationships with our students, colleagues, parents/whānau and school community. With a supportive BOT, community and teaching team, Reading Recovery training and support is provided.
Position begins term 1, 2021.
